La Vegana Madre was born out of our love for animals, our culture and the food that our mothers, grandmothers and aunts cooked for us. We searched for a way to meld these loves with our need to have our own business. La Vegana Madre strives to merge love, spirituality, sustainability, and great tasting food. We want to teach people about the benefits of being vegan while sharing Mexican culture through food.

Been looking for this place for a while after reading about their vegan carne asada tacos, and I was not dissapointed. I've had just about everything on their menu. The Al Pastor mixed with the sweet pineapple and flavorful tomatillo go well in the tacos, and the soyrizo burrito a must try. But I think so far the picadillo empanada is mine and my wife's favorite. I like Green's but I LOVE THIS PLACE. A MUST TRY!!!
